Description
Music Sorb for Grand Piano humidity control is a set of soft pouches for pianos.
They are often preferred instead of cassettes for grand pianos, because they look less obtrusive in their soft white bags.
(Note: Both the “pouches” and “cassettes” are the same amount of product and have the same effectiveness; they are simply different packaging designs.)

Very nice, does not show in my grand piano. I measured the RH and it does what it is supposed to do.

I purchased Music Sorb from you in September 2013, and installed it (takes at best five seconds!) in my 1877 Steinway concert grand piano, as recommended by Mario Igrec, author of Pianos Inside Out, who is my technician, and who restored my instrument about 25 years ago. As most persons know, this winter has been very severe in the South (I live in south Louisiana).
In my opinion, Music Sorb has definitely helped maintain the tuning of my instrument, and I would recommend it to anyone with a piano who cares about protecting the long-term value of the instrument.

I bought a 2 pouch set of Music Sorb for my Yamaha C-7 in May of 2014. I wanted to see if they lasted more than 1 year. I live in the Colorado foothills where the winter RH is in the 20s. I humidify the room the piano is in to about 35% RH and keep the Music Sorb pouches in the instrument too. The RH inside the instrument stays about 35% when the lid is closed. I have yet to let the room stay dry for an extended period with the pouches in place. I will be away for 3 weeks this April and want to order a new set to keep the piano happy while I’m away. I have a steam shower that I use to “charge” the pouches up every couple of months.
